Elder Jed Lindblom

[This week] was good. We got a lot of new investigators and um nobody at church - which sucked because it was our week again to teach Gospel Principles and it was just us two members and a set of Sisters and another set of Elders hahaa. I am not doing much better but I know this is where I need to be. I love the Lord and this gospel. I Love and miss you all. We tracted a lot this past week and that was good. We are also this month of September trying to flood the earth with the Book of Mormom so yaay for that. I took a lot of pictures since last week so yaaay for that. Also we went to the Remington gun factory in Herkimar today just got back that was pretty kewl. Well here's some pics.

Q:  How are your head, neck, and back feeling? A:  Bad, bad, and lower back bad.  It hurts every single day.  Mostly head is the worst though. Q:  What is the best thing about being a missionary? A:  Seeing how the lord truly does have a plan. Q:  On average, how many dinner appointments do you have each week? A:  Maybe one if we are lucky. Q:  How many investigators do you have right now?  Who are you teaching currently? A:  We have about 60 and we are working hardest with about 10.  The 10 we have on date to be baptized in September. Q:  What has been your favorite PDay activity so far? A:  Well, I am so poor, probably hiking.  We are going to go golfing I think. Q:  What do you like about your companion? A:  He is very decisive and cool and spiritually in tune. Q:  What kinds of foods do you cook for yourself in your apartment? A:  Chicken breasts,...

This past week for me was great. We got 30 new investigators and it is so cool to see how much the Lord truly has prepared this part of his fold. I am really having a hard time though - so many ups and downs emotionally. I love the Lord and I love this work but it is messing with my emotions so much every day. I want so badly for you to send me some pictures in your letters and for more letters. I Looooove them so much. Nothing is really new. Umm I spoke yesterday in church and of course the topic was missionary work. Sooooo I shared that one story I keep in my wallet annnnd I cried. I am such a baby. So yesterday in church the brand spanking new bishop was announcing the sacrament hymn and he said we will now sing hymn 176 - "Tis Sweet to Sing the Mattress of Love" and everyone started dying laughing. It was so funny! hahhaa - Hope you think so too. I am emailing from this library because the church is closed for cleaning so I can't send any pics this week, sorry.  Hop...

This week was great. I got to do a lot of the normal stuff but we have been trying to tract in the city more.  So here are some pics. P.S. yes I did [receive the short sleeve white shirts]. Thank you so much and I have been wearing the Bob Ross shirt the past few work out days!

I am doing pretty dandy I guess. I am truly experiencing the Lord's hand so much in my life and I love it so much. I am doing okay staying with my companion 6 more weeks.  I do kind of wish it wasn't so sad when people say "no" but it like legit hurts my heart. I love the Lord, I love this work, and I really Love and miss you all. Hope you all are safe and all that jazz. Here's some pics I hope you all enjoy. It's a...major award!
