Get Well, Get Well Soon

I am trying so hard to stay positive. This work is real hard and my neck and head have been killing for a couple days now. I had to go to the ER to get blood work done and then all day yesterday I had to stay in the apartment. It is so not fun. I know though [that] this mission is going to bless my life and especially the life of those I love.

I am feeling a lot better in the head [but] my neck and back still hurt pretty bad. But I am tough enough. I miss y'all so much. I absolutely Love getting letters they make my day.  Every single day at approximately 3:07 the mail man comes and I just can't wait till 5:00 to come home and check the mailbox.

I am so glad to be out here, no doubt.  It is pretty hard missing a lot of people and things I love. I am learning to be more Christlike, which is probably hard to believe: Elder Lindblom MORE Christlike?  Is that even possible?  Well I am here to assure you that I don't even feel like the same person and already I have troubles when people call me by my first name hahahaa. I wonder if it will ever get easier for me to let investigators drop us as well because even after only one visit I feel like crying when they say we don't need to come back.

Mom - I am wondering if there is any chance sooon if you could send me some more short sleevers. I am dying out here. Also I had to throw my light grey suit away because for starters I tried to pick up my scripture marking pencil and the jacket tore straight down the seam. I am getting jacked I guess you could say.  Like no joke.  Tell Dad to look out because I weigh 168.4.

Also after I had thrown the jacket away I was out tracting and this old lady needed some help taking some old stanky grungy green pee puke mattresses out to the street corner.  So we helped, you know because Christ don't judge.  But it wasn't till we were done that she told us "Thank you so much choir boys. I hope now the bed bugs won't get me." You don't understand how upset and grossed out I was right then. Like the bed bugs here are no joke and the mosquitoes. The best part of all this was she pulled up part of her parachute pant leg and toooooooons of bloody scabs were exposed to the fresh air probably for the first time in years. It was reeeeeaaallllllyyyy funnn. So yeah I had to dispose of a short sleeve shirt and a tie and my grey suit pants.  So yaaa.

On a much happier note I am going to be actually baptizing somebody this Saturday, which I am pretty darn stoked about. His name is Richard and he has some mental handicaps because he was mustard gassed in WWII. He is super cool. I love the Lord and I love being able to pray every single night and truly ponder allllllll the amazing people he has lead me to as well as all the amazing people he has put into my life.  Truly I am so Blessed to have all of you supporting me. I love you all so Much and hope to here back from ya soon.

Love, Elder Lindblom
